It is important not to confuse the different citizen initiatives currently targeting voters of Arab and Muslim origin in Quebec.
The Canadian Communities Cooperation Council (4C) has also issued its "Voter Guide" for the Quebec election scheduled for October 5, 2026.
Our initiative does not claim to represent all Muslim voters in Quebec or to speak on their behalf; rather, it aims to promote informed and enlightened electoral participation by providing citizens with information, data, and an analysis of the situation in each electoral riding.
The guide covers 40 electoral ridings and relies in particular on 2021 census data from Statistics Canada, as well as published election projections clearly referenced in the guide.
Recommendations may vary from one riding to another and may involve different parties; they represent independent editorial analysis and do not constitute a general endorsement of any political party.
We believe, above all, that every citizen should be able to review the electoral platforms, study the positions of parties and candidates on the issues that matter to them, and then freely exercise their own democratic judgment.
The diversity of opinions within Muslim and Arab communities, and within Quebec society as a whole, is a reality we fully respect.
The final decision always rests with the voter.
